Janmashtami or Gokulashtami as it is popularly known in whole India is a festival of joy and gaiety. It celebrates with great pomp and show, the birth of lord Krishna who was born more than 5000 years ago in the 28th year of Dwapar Yug. It is one of the most celebrated festivals for Hindus not only in India but also all over the world. Janmashtami is about the joy, people all over the world feel for their beloved Lord Krishna.

We also celebrated this festival in our Sun Flower Pre-School. We celebrated this with lots of joy and full of zeal. Each and every student had come in the dress of Krishna and Radha. Even teachers also wore a dress of Radha. Our school looked like vrindavan because of the decoration and all things which was related to Krishna. Than we celebrated Krishna Janm than we all play Garba and enjoy every moment of that day. We can’t forget that day. Even our schools Trusty and principal gave us full support to celebrate this festival. At last we all sing one song

‘Govind bolo hari gopal bolo

Radha raman hari govind bolo’
